Easy Travel: Not your Average Tour Operator

There are easy ways to conduct safari operations and there are more thorough and responsible ways. Despite our name, Easy Travel does not choose the easy route when ensuring that our programs, our tours, and our experiences all comply with the highest standards in worker’s conditions, environmental stewardship, and social responsibilty.
Take a look at our accreditations below:

KILIMANJARO PORTERS ASSISTANCE PROJECT (KPAP)

Established in 2003, the Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project (KPAP) is a legally registered Tanzanian not-for-profit organization. Our Mission is to improve the working conditions of the porters on Kilimanjaro. KPAP is not a porter membership organization, or a tour operating business, and we do not collect any fees from porters or climbing companies. KPAP is an initiative of the International Mountain Explorers Connection (IMEC), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based out of Boulder, Colorado in the United States.

THE INTERNATIONAL EXPLORERS CONNECTION (IMEC)

The International Mountain Explorers Connection (IMEC), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is helping to transform the impact of tourism on Mount Kilimanjaro through:
Porter Assistance Programs
Providing the climbing public with fundamental information concerning proper porter treatment
Advocating climbers to make an informed decision in choosing a socially responsible climbing company

AFRICAN TRAVEL & TOURISM ASSOCIATION (ATTA)

The African Travel & Tourism Association (Atta) is a member-driven trade association that promotes tourism to Africa from all corners of the world. Recognised as the Voice of African Tourism, Atta serves and supports businesses in Africa representing buyers and suppliers of tourism product across 22 African countries. With over 550 members, Atta acts as Pan-Africa’s largest network of tourism product covering not only accommodation, transport and travel specialists in Africa, but a formidable selection of tour operators, representation and PR companies worldwide promoting tourism to Africa.

TANZANIA ASSOSIATION OF TOUR OPERATORS (TATO)

TATO was established 1983 to foster the interests of the licensed tour operators such as to carry out lobbying and advocacy for and on behalf of its members, to coordinate public and private sector partnership.
TATO also undertakes and publishes research in matters related to tourism industry and operations as well as to disseminate information to its members and relevant institutions.
Trainings and education provision to its members and employees are also among the key issues for the association.
